The Tudor Northflag name pays homage to the British North Greenland Expedition. In the 1950s, this expedition wore Tudor watches during their polar missions, and the watches' reliability withstood the extreme conditions. Inspired by this, the Tudor Northflag (M91210N) was released in 2015, featuring a 41mm monocoque case and a black dial with a power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock. The change in movement model has led to changes in the watch's complications: dual time zone is the most significant upgrade in the new Extreme model, achieved through the GMT hand corresponding to the 24-hour scale on the outer edge of the dial. As the "finishing touch" of the Tudor Extreme model, yellow runs throughout every important detail on the dial, including the GMT hand, some markers, and the "NORTHFLAG" name, injecting vitality into the black and white dial. Another change in the new Extreme model is the case design; it uses a 40mm diameter stainless steel case, 12.7mm thick. Compared to its predecessor, the case diameter has been slightly reduced by 1 mm, and the thickness by 0.6 mm. In terms of details, the case bevels are presented in an arc shape, paired with an H-shaped integrated stainless steel bracelet and a Tudor T-shaped buckle with a built-in micro-adjustment system, showing a trend of looking towards popular luxury sports watches.
